What are mandalas, where do they originate from and how are they traditionally used? How can we benefit from them when experiencing eco-anxiety and can they help us to find stillness? Through drawing mandalas, can we reconnect with our environment?

About the Event

This workshop is lead by art therapist Rachel Hiskins and artist, educator Sofie Dieu.

Mandalas have reached us from past civilisations and are useful tools to address and aleviate eco-anxiety. Discover which symbols to use, how to agence them and bring in stillness of mind throughout the making process. 

Clues on how to share these activities with family, in the workplace, with children and with the community at large will be discussed.

Participants will be given time to reflect in their journal and think of a way to use the shared ideas and suggested activity as part of their creative journey.
