About the Event

This workshop will be lead by artist and counsellor Eleonore Pirronneau and artist and art teacher Sofie Dieu.

The workshop will start with a short introduction on the importance to acknowledge through celebration, ritual the anniversary of  a traumatic event.

It will be followed by a creative object arrangement, or 3D creative composition with objects that have meaning for you.

As such, a few days BEFORE the workshop, you will need to gather small objects that resonate with you. The way you will use them will give sense to your recovery journey.

For example you could prepare a cup of water as it symbolises life, rain, renewal. Or it could be some small rocks that represent where you live or a place you associate with home and serenity, etc. It can be anything from a piece of colour, a fabric, a ribbon, a shoe... any object with a positive symbol that will support your recovery.

You will need a minimum of 5 up to 15 objects.

You will be given time to reflect and share your findings with other participants (if you wish so). Prompts will be shared to open ways of using these ideas with your family and Community.
